- Razvijanje usposobljenosti za ocenjevanje vplivov na okolje za plane, programe in politike,
- snovanje ocen vplivov na okolje s primerjavo različic ob upoštevanju razvojnih potreb in varstvenih interesov,
- usposabljanje za večparametrsko vrednotenje in odločanje.

- Development of qualifications for the environmental impact assessment for plans, programmes and policies,
- Devising and planning environmental impact assessments based on comparative evaluation of alternatives while taking into consideration both societal development needs and environmental protection interests,
- Training for multi-parameter evaluation and decision-making.

Cilji in kompetence:
Objectives and competences:

Cilj predmeta je usposobiti študente za strateško
presojanje vplivov na okolje in izvajanje
multidisciplinarne sinteze pri vrednotenju
alternativ za odločanje o rabi okolja v sklopu
razvojnih programov. Poudarek je na potrebah po strateškem ocenjevanju in skladno s tem različnih uporabah presoj, metodah in orodjih
interdisciplinarnega ocenjevanja vplivov na okolje
ter načinih prikazovanja rezultatov. Upoštevani
bodo: družbeni razvojni interesi, gospodarstvo,
zdravje in kakovost življenja, urejanje prostora,
legalnost, metode načrtovanja, optimizacija ter
večparametrsko in večfazno vrednotenje.

Z vidika kompetenc študijskega programa so cilji
predmeta povezani s pridobivanjem spretnosti in
usposabljanja za izvajanje preventivnega
okoljevarstvenega delovanja na strateški ravni.

The aim of this course is to train students in
strategic environmental impact assessment and
practicing multidisciplinary synthesis. Both will be
applied through the evaluation of alternatives for
societal development programs assisting different levels of decision-making. Starting from the needs of strategic evaluations various purposes of assessments will be presented and discussed together with methods and tools of interdisciplinary assessment of environmental impacts. Special attention will be placed to the form of presenting results of strategic evaluations. Considerations will cover: societal development interests, the economy, health and quality of living, land-use optimization and arrangements, legality, planning levels and
approaches, multi-parameter and multi-phase
evaluation.

In the context of the study program the objectives and competences of the course are related to developing and demonstrating working capabilities in the area of preventive environmental protection at strategic level.
