Študenti bodo razvili sposobnosti spremljanja ter prepoznavanja aktualnih znanstveno raziskovalnih problemov, sodobnih metod raziskovanja, najnovejših rezultatov in uporabe najnovejšega znanja na področju ekotehnologij. Študenti se bodo soočili tudi z izzivi izdelave pisnega pregleda obravnavanih vsebin v obliki članka ter s posredovanjem ugotovitev v obliki neposrednega ustnega komuniciranja.

Students will develop the ability to follow and identify current scientific research problems, modern methods of research, the latest results and the use of the state-of-the -art knowledge in the field of ecotechnologies. Students will also face with the challenges of writing a written review of the selected topics as a paper and by sharing of their findings with oral seminar presentation.

Cilji predmeta

Razvijanje sposobnosti spremljanja in prepoznavanja znanstveno raziskovalnih problemov: Študenti bodo pridobili sposobnost spremljanja in prepoznavanja aktualnih znanstveno raziskovalnih izzivov na področju ekotehnologij, kar vključuje razumevanje sodobnih metod raziskovanja in najnovejših znanstvenih rezultatov.

Uporaba najnovejšega znanja v praksi: Študenti bodo usposobljeni za uporabo najnovejših znanj in tehnologij pri reševanju kompleksnih problemov na področju ekotehnologij.

Razvoj veščin pisnega izražanja: Študenti se bodo naučili, kako sistematično in znanstveno predstaviti pregled obravnavanih vsebin v obliki pisnega članka, kar vključuje kritično analizo in sintezo informacij.

Izpopolnjevanje ustnih komunikacijskih veščin: Študenti bodo razvili sposobnost učinkovitega in neposrednega ustnega posredovanja znanstvenih ugotovitev, kar vključuje pripravo in izvedbo znanstvenih predstavitev.

Analitično razmišljanje in prepoznavanje problemov: Študenti bodo razvili analitične sposobnosti za prepoznavanje in obravnavo aktualnih znanstveno raziskovalnih problemov ter za uporabo sodobnih metod raziskovanja.

Tehnična usposobljenost na področju ekotehnologij: Študenti bodo pridobili tehnične kompetence za uporabo najnovejših tehnologij in znanj na področju ekotehnologij, kar vključuje sposobnost integracije teh znanj v raziskovalne in praktične naloge.

Pisno in znanstveno izražanje: Študenti bodo usposobljeni za pisno izražanje kompleksnih znanstvenih vsebin, kar vključuje sposobnost priprave in pisanja znanstvenih člankov ter pregledov literature.

Ustno komuniciranje in predstavitev: Študenti bodo razvili kompetence za učinkovito ustno komunikacijo znanstvenih ugotovitev, vključno s pripravo in izvedbo znanstvenih predstavitev ter sposobnostjo prenosa kompleksnih idej v razumljiv in strukturiran format.

Course Objectives

Developing the Ability to Monitor and Identify Scientific Research Problems: Students will gain the ability to monitor and identify current scientific research challenges in the field of ecotechnologies, including understanding contemporary research methods and the latest scientific results.

Application of the Latest Knowledge in Practice: Students will be trained to apply the latest knowledge and technologies to solve complex problems in the field of ecotechnologies.

Development of Writing Skills: Students will learn how to systematically and scientifically present a review of discussed topics in the form of a written article, including critical analysis and synthesis of information.

Enhancing Oral Communication Skills: Students will develop the ability to effectively and directly communicate scientific findings orally, which includes preparing and delivering scientific presentations.

Competencies

Analytical Thinking and Problem Identification: Students will develop analytical skills to identify and address current scientific research problems and to use modern research methods.

Technical Proficiency in Ecotechnologies: Students will acquire technical competencies for applying the latest technologies and knowledge in the field of ecotechnologies, including the ability to integrate this knowledge into research and practical tasks.

Written and Scientific Expression: Students will be equipped to express complex scientific content in writing, including the ability to prepare and write scientific articles and literature reviews.

Oral Communication and Presentation: Students will develop competencies for effectively communicating scientific findings orally, including preparing and delivering scientific presentations and the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and structured format.

Sposobnost prepoznavanja aktualnih znanstveno raziskovalnih problemov: Študenti bodo pokazali sposobnost prepoznavanja in razumevanja trenutnih znanstvenih izzivov na področju ekotehnologij.

Uspešna uporaba sodobnih raziskovalnih metod: Študenti bodo znali uporabljati sodobne raziskovalne metode za reševanje znanstveno raziskovalnih problemov na področju ekotehnologij.

Pisno izražanje kompleksnih znanstvenih vsebin: Študenti bodo usposobljeni za pripravo in pisanje znanstvenih člankov ter sistematičnih pregledov literature, ki temeljijo na kritični analizi in sintezi informacij.

Učinkovito ustno posredovanje znanstvenih ugotovitev: Študenti bodo pridobili veščine za učinkovito ustno komunikacijo svojih raziskovalnih ugotovitev, kar vključuje pripravo in izvedbo strukturiranih znanstvenih predstavitev.

Sposobnost uporabe najnovejšega znanja v praksi: Študenti bodo pokazali, da znajo na podlagi pridobljenega znanja uspešno reševati kompleksne probleme na področju ekotehnologij.

Kritično in analitično razmišljanje: Študenti bodo razvili kritično in analitično razmišljanje, ki jim bo omogočilo samostojno vrednotenje znanstvenih problemov in rezultatov ter oblikovanje ustreznih rešitev.

Successful Application of Modern Research Methods: Students will be able to use modern research methods to solve scientific research problems in the field of ecotechnologies.

Written Expression of Complex Scientific Content: Students will be equipped to prepare and write scientific articles and systematic literature reviews based on critical analysis and synthesis of information.

Effective Oral Communication of Scientific Findings: Students will acquire the skills needed to effectively communicate their research findings orally, including preparing and delivering structured scientific presentations.

Seminar III študent opravi tako, da pred komisijo treh profesorjev predstavi svoje raziskovalno delo na doktorskem študiju in dokaže celovito znanje z raziskovalnega področja študijskega programa. Z mentorjem uskladi datum in uro seminarja ter na info@mps.si najmanj en teden pred predstavitvijo sporoči datum, uro, prostor in naslov seminarja. Predsednik komisije je predstojnik študijskega programa ali njegov pooblaščeni predstavnik, člana komisije pa sta tudi mentor in praviloma vsaj en član komisije za oceno disertacije. Po opravljenem Seminarju III odda v tajništvo MPŠ izpolnjen in podpisan zapisnik Seminarja III, izpitno prijavnico za Seminar III, seminarsko nalogo (članek s področja doktorske disertacije) ter natisnjene prosojnice seminarja.
Seminar III assessment is based on the presentation of the student's doctoral project in front of a committee of three IPS professors, where the student also demonstrates comprehensive knowledge from the research field of the study programme. The student and the supervisor jointly set the date and time of the seminar. At least one week before the presentation, the student shall communicate the date, time, room and title of the seminar to info@mps.si. The Head of the study program or his authorised representative is the president of the commission, supervisor and usually also one of the members of the commission for the evaluation of the dissertation are also members. After presenting Seminar III, the student must submit to the IPS Secretariat the filled out and signed minutes of Seminar III, Seminar III exam application, printed seminar work (scientific paper on the topic of the doctoral dissertation), as well as printout of slides presented at the seminar.
