In May 2024, I had the opportunity to visit a research group at Technische Universität Dresden, focusing on exploratory landscape analysis and its applications to describe black-box optimization problems numerically. My visit involved engaging in detailed discussions and consultations to deepen my understanding of their innovative work.
Additionally, I participated in the COSEAL workshop, which centered on algorithm selection for optimization. This event allowed me to engage with fellow optimization experts, fostering potential collaborations. During the workshop, I also had the chance to present my research on a new methodology for benchmarking algorithms through a poster presentation, which provided a platform to share insights and gather valuable feedback from peers in the field.
