European Universities Competition on Artificial Intelligence

The Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW Hamburg), in collaboration with Technology and Innovation Solutions GmbH and other partners, is launching the European Universities Competition on Artificial Intelligence to Promote Sustainable Development and Address Climate Change.

This initiative encourages students to design AI-driven solutions that contribute to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and tackle pressing environmental and climate-related issues.

Competition Goals:

• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration across European universities.
  
• Promote the development of AI innovations aligned with SDGs.
  
• Emphasize the potential of AI in climate mitigation and adaptation.
  

Two Competition Categories:

1. AI for Sustainable Development
   
2. AI and Climate Change Solutions
   

Who Can Apply?

Applications are open to undergraduate, master’s, and PhD students currently enrolled in European universities, from any academic background including:

• Engineering & Technology
  
• Economics, Policy & Business
  
• Health & Life Sciences
  
• Social Sciences & Humanities
  
• Education & Learning Technologies
  
• Mathematics & Statistics
