Content (Syllabus outline):

Študenti bodo razvili sposobnosti spremljanja ter prepoznavanja aktualnih znanstveno raziskovalnih problemov, sodobnih metod raziskovanja, najnovejših rezultatov in uporabe najnovejšega znanja na področju ekotehnologij. Študenti se bodo soočili tudi z izzivi izdelave pisnega pregleda obravnavanih vsebin v obliki osnutka članka in osnutka teme disertacije ter s posredovanjem ugotovitev v obliki neposrednega ustnega komuniciranja.

Students will develop the ability to follow and identify current scientific research problems, modern methods of research, the latest results and the use of the state-of-the -art knowledge in the field of ecotechnologies. Students will also face with the challenges of writing a written review of the selected topics as a draft paper and a draft topic of the dissertation as well as by sharing of their findings with oral seminar presentation.

Cilji

Razvijanje sposobnosti spremljanja in prepoznavanja znanstveno raziskovalnih problemov: Študenti bodo pridobili veščine za spremljanje in prepoznavanje aktualnih znanstveno raziskovalnih izzivov na področju ekotehnologij, s poudarkom na razumevanju sodobnih raziskovalnih metod in najnovejših znanstvenih rezultatov.

Uporaba najnovejšega znanja in tehnologij v ekotehnologijah: Študenti bodo usposobljeni za uporabo najnovejšega znanja in tehnologij pri reševanju kompleksnih problemov na področju ekotehnologij, vključno s pripravo osnutkov člankov in tem disertacij.

Razvoj veščin pisnega izražanja znanstvenih vsebin: Študenti se bodo naučili sistematično in znanstveno pripraviti pisne preglede obravnavanih vsebin, v obliki osnutkov člankov in njihovih disertacijskih tem.

Izpopolnjevanje ustnih komunikacijskih veščin: Študenti bodo razvili sposobnost učinkovitega ustnega posredovanja znanstvenih ugotovitev, vključno s predstavitvijo osnutkov člankov in tem disertacij v neposredni komunikaciji.

Kompetence

Analitično razmišljanje in prepoznavanje raziskovalnih izzivov: Študenti bodo razvili sposobnost analitičnega razmišljanja, kar jim bo omogočilo prepoznavanje in obravnavo aktualnih znanstveno raziskovalnih problemov na področju ekotehnologij.

Tehnična usposobljenost na področju ekotehnologij: Študenti bodo pridobili tehnične kompetence za uporabo najnovejših tehnologij in raziskovalnih metod, kar jim bo omogočilo integracijo teh znanj v raziskovalno delo in disertacijske teme.

Pisno in znanstveno izražanje: Študenti bodo usposobljeni za pripravo osnutkov znanstvenih člankov in tem disertacij, kar vključuje sposobnost pisnega izražanja kompleksnih znanstvenih vsebin.

Ustno komuniciranje in predstavitev znanstvenih ugotovitev: Študenti bodo razvili kompetence za učinkovito ustno komuniciranje in predstavitev svojih raziskovalnih ugotovitev, vključno s predstavitvijo osnutkov člankov in tem disertacij.

Objectives

Developing the Ability to Monitor and Identify Scientific Research Problems: Students will acquire skills to monitor and identify current scientific research challenges in the field of ecotechnologies, with a focus on understanding modern research methods and the latest scientific results.

Application of the Latest Knowledge and Technologies in Ecotechnologies: Students will be trained to apply the latest knowledge and technologies to solve complex problems in ecotechnologies, including the preparation of article drafts and dissertation topics.

Development of Writing Skills for Scientific Content: Students will learn to systematically and scientifically prepare written reviews of the covered topics, in the form of article drafts and their dissertation topics.

Enhancing Oral Communication Skills: Students will develop the ability to effectively communicate scientific findings orally, including presenting article drafts and dissertation topics in direct communication.

Competencies

Analytical Thinking and Identification of Research Challenges: Students will develop the ability to think analytically, enabling them to identify and address current scientific research problems in the field of ecotechnologies.

Technical Proficiency in Ecotechnologies: Students will acquire technical competencies for using the latest technologies and research methods, allowing them to integrate this knowledge into their research work and dissertation topics.

Written and Scientific Expression: Students will be equipped to prepare drafts of scientific articles and dissertation topics, including the ability to express complex scientific content in writing.

Oral Communication and Presentation of Scientific Findings: Students will develop competencies for effectively communicating and presenting their research findings orally, including the presentation of article drafts and dissertation topics.

Priprava osnutka članka in osnutka teme disertacije, ustna predstavitev ter suverena komunikacija o obravnavanih vsebinah.

Preparation of a draft paper and a draft topic of doctoral dissertation as well as oral presentation and sovereign communication about the discussed topics.

Seminar II študent opravi tako, da pred komisijo treh profesorjev predstavi svoje raziskovalno delo na doktorskem študiju. Z mentorjem uskladi datum in uro seminarja ter na info@mps.si najmanj en teden pred predstavitvijo sporoči datum, uro, prostor in naslov seminarja. Komisija je praviloma enaka komisiji za oceno teme disertacije. Po opravljenem Seminarju II odda v tajništvo MPŠ izpolnjen in podpisan zapisnik Seminarja II, izpitno prijavnico za Seminar II, seminarsko nalogo (osnutek članka s področja doktorske disertacije) ter natisnjene prosojnice seminarja.
Seminar II assessment is based on the presentation of the student's doctoral project in front of a committee of three IPS professors. The student and the supervisor jointly set the date and time of the seminar. At least one week before the presentation, the student shall communicate the date, time, room and title of the seminar to info@mps.si. The commission is usually the same as commission for the evaluation of the topic of the dissertation. After presenting Seminar II, the student must submit to the IPS Secretariat the filled out and signed minutes of Seminar II, Seminar II exam application, printed seminar work (draft paper on the topic of the doctoral dissertation), as well as printout of slides presented at the seminar.
