The IPS wants to supplement its educational activities by organising a Career Centre which would offer the students the possibilities to collaborate with the industry and institutes, understand the real economy, better prepare for work and raise the possibility of finding employment in successful companies.
Our aim is to ensure that students, within the framework of their regular study obligations, partake and extend their knowledge also in research tasks related to current research efforts in the industry. Therefore the IPS introduced a new elective course in 2018 – the Industrial Seminar. The IPS Career Centre takes part in organising and carrying out the seminar proposed by the involved company on a topic that would potentially be interesting for the company or the student.
Thus the Career Centre represents a contact point between the students, school, graduates, and other employers.
The IPS Career Centre also helps future and current students decide whether to undertake studies, coordinates international exchanges, offers guidance in career planning, and follows the career path of its graduates. IPS Career Centre provides its services free of charge.
